About

PocketFinds started as a group chat where four friends kept sharing links to weird little games nobody else was talking about. At some point we figured we might as well write it all down properly, so here we are.

We're a tiny independent editorial team. Nobody here is paid by a studio, and we don't run a store. Our whole thing is finding indie and small-studio mobile titles across every genre and telling you honestly whether they're worth the download.,Choosing what to cover is simple but strict: one of us has to actually play it for a few sessions, on a real phone, not an emulator. If a game bores us in ten minutes we usually still finish it, because sometimes the good part hides behind a slow start. Then we argue about the score.,We care about genre variety. It would be easy to just review puzzle games forever, but we make a point of rotating through RPGs, strategy, racing, adventure and the odd oddball simulator. If a game is fun and made with care, we want to write about it.

Nils Bergström — Nils has been reviewing mobile games since the early touchscreen days and still keeps three phones charged just for testing. He argues that a good control scheme matters more than fancy graphics.
