Lucky Coins
Lucky Coins is one of those games that looks childishly simple until you're forty minutes deep and realizing you missed your bus stop. The core loop has you flicking coins across small tilted boards, aiming them into slots and chaining them through bumpers. It's part physics toy, part gentle puzzle, and it never asks too much of you at once.
What surprised me is how readable the boards are. Each level introduces one new obstacle — a spinning wheel, a magnetic wall, a springy pad — and lets you learn it before stacking things up. The controls are a single drag-and-release, so it plays fine one-handed on a crowded train, which is exactly where I did most of my testing.
The presentation is warm and unbothered. Soft clinking sounds, pastel backgrounds, no timers screaming at you. If you want something to unwind with in short bursts, this is a genuinely nice pick. My only gripe is that later levels reuse a few layouts, but by then you'll have your favourites anyway.
